Hello Houss 2020, thanks for submitting this Rapid Grant request. We are excited that you are planning to run a Wikipedia 20 event in Gafsa, Tunisia. I have reviewed your application and have the following questions and requests:

• Do you have other experienced editors who can support you during the workshops? Do you think your experience with Wikimedia projects is enough to run a Wikipedia workshop?
• Since your event will include more than 10 people, you need to follow the Risk Assessment Protocol and fill out the Risk Assessment Tool. Please do so and add the link to the completed Risk Assessment Tool under the corresponding question.
• Please also respond to the following question in the Impact section: Will you be able to collect this information either during or after your event?
• Could you please provide a more detailed budget? We need the budget breakdown for the following items: Six workshops, Party, and Materials. What particular costs do they cover and for how many participants?

My experience as a new Wikipedia is enough to run an introduction workshop about Wikimedia projects and how to start editing Wikipedia. Also i will request the help of the Wikimedia Tunisia.

Risk Assessment Protocol

For each workshop the number of participants will not exceed 10.The total number of participants will not exceed 20.You find the link of Risk Assessment Protocol of our project.

Impact

After each workshop we will ask the participants about their impression , after this project we will organize other events such as photo tours and other workshops.

Celebration Postponed

Dear DSaroyan (WMF)

Due to a national lockdown announced by the Tunisian Health Ministry , we want to inform you that we are obliged to postpone our celebration of the 20th Wikipedia anniversary programmed on 14 January 2021 as part of “Wikipedia 20 Gafsa project”.

So, we intend to organize the celebration by the end of January.

We ask for a grant extension far enough in the future so that it covers hosting the event and receiving/paying all the bills associated with the grant.

Hello Houss 2020, thanks for posting your request here. I'm sorry to learn that you have to postpone the event due to the national lockdown in Tunisia. I'm happy to offer an extension until February 28, 2021. The new reporting due date for your project is now March 31, 2021. Please let me know if you need more time for your project.
