@WJifar (WMF): Very clearly this refusal of subsidy is shameful. For many years, @Nicola:, a quality contributor, has produced numerous illustrations of cyclists whom we hardly ever come across and who nevertheless have articles. She had given us a lot of help when it came to establishing programs operating in various languages. When I illustrated professional cycling, traveling by bike and train, it was not uncommon for me to reach a four-hour trip to reach certain parts of Belgium. It should be considered that certain modes of transport (like planes or high speed trains) considerably reduce distances. For its 2017-2018 fiscal year, the Wikimedia Foundation collected more than one hundred million US dollars. In an ideal world, and the WMF should strive towards this ideal, people would come at the start of the year to contact productive contributors like Nicola to ask them what they need, so that they can work in the best possible conditions, therefore produce more content, therefore generate even more donations. I immediately discovered this decision, that's why my message is necessarily very late. I thought it necessary and healthy to give my opinion on the subject. I plead for the WMF to be fully at the service of all the contributors who act over the years to develop Wikipedia and its ancillary sites.
