Hello, Drkill; thank you for submitting this grant proposal and for your work for the Wiki movement. We have the following question:

You are requesting funds for the airfare and accommodation of a lead facilitator. Are you the lead facilitator or is this someone else? If this is someone else, please link to their user account and/or ask them to chime in on this talk page or to endorse the proposal.

Thanks for your question, MMontes (WMF). Our lead facilitator, w:User:Compositionist, was selected from among members of the CCCC Wikipedia Initiative task force for his standing in the CWPA conference community and ability to attract event participants. He has endorsed the proposal and added his username to the budget. Please let us know if you have further feedback or questions!

Grant request declined edit

Hello, Drkill; thank you for answering my questions and, again, for submitting this grant request. Unfortunately, one of the eligibility criteria for travel requests in WMF grants programs is editing experience on different Wiki projects, and I'm afraid there isn't a strong record in this regard for the lead facilitator for this workshop. Moreover, the conference is taking place in an area where other experienced Wikimedians could facilitate this workshop, further questioning the need to fly and accommodate someone from out of state. We are sorry to be unable to support the CCCC Wikipedia Initiative on this occasion, but we hope to be able to support the group's future work.
