Hello Agbalagba, thanks again for submitting this grant request. I have some questions after reviewing it. Please take some time to address them all:

  • This grant should be credited to Yoruba Wikimedians User Group, first of all, because you are the president of the user group. So please add the user group’s name and a secondary contact to the probox.
  • Am I correct that you plan to buy airtime to host your own program on a radio station? Wouldn’t it be possible to request this time for free?
  • On which radio station do you plan to broadcast the program?
  • What will be the topics of the episodes? Who will be the volunteer speakers? Could you provide their names or usernames?
  • In the targets you mentioned that the number of campaign participants is 2. Could you please explain this target?
  • You also mentioned that you want to increase the number of pageviews by 25%. Compared to which date do you intend to have this increase? Please add it in the targets as well.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 13:44, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello DSaroyan (WMF) and thanks for your feedback. We have provided answers to your questions below.

  • Yes, you are correct that we will buy airtime to host the program on a radio station. Unfortunately, there are no non-profit radio stations in Nigeria. We have requested for free airtime from at least three radio stations but our requests were declined that they do not give free airtime.
  • We are considering either Fàájì FM or Bond F.M. The two stations have a wide audience.
  • The topics of the episode would include various aspects of the work done by Wikipedia volunteers across the globe and some topics relating to the Yoruba people, culture, history and the Yoruba Wikipedia. There would be a session for quiz to engage the listeners as part of each program. The presenters (or guest speakers) are User:Agbalagba and User:Atewolara (Madam Ifẹ́jọlá) who was a former Yoruba language presenter on Lagos Television
  • The number of campaign participants is at least 60 people. We will take at least 5 calls from the listeners during each program. So, at least 60 people will participate. Sorry for the mistakes. This have not been fixed on the proposal.
  • Yes, we want to increase the number of pageviews by 25%. We will measure this by comparing the last three months page-views (January-March) and the next three months (April - June). We will then compare these with the page-views from July to September to determine if the page view is stable, declining or increasing.

Thanks for your questions and feedback and please let us know if you need additional clarification. Agbalagba TC 09:08, 9 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
