sub-national (city and regional work)

As we discussed this briefly in person at Wikimedia CEE MEeeting 2022 and I wrote in followup emails in 26.11.2022 *(to Dimitar Parvanov and Capucine-Marin, cc:Gergő and Franziska), but got no reply here is my input for this more public (meta)... It is fairly common (especially) in some parts of Europe that (big) cities and regions are led by much more progressive politicians and that we should consider policy and advocacy work in sub-national level *(especially if fast gains are possible). It would be good if WMF could be explicitly open to this model also. No? -- Zblace (talk) 18:43, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
