I Umar-askira Support this project to be rendered in the School, because It will implement potential impacts to the student's knowledge. Most of the students in institutions, Polytechnics and even universities have inadequate research resources that will help them expand their knowledge. But with the use of Wikipedia Campaigns and awareness especially this project will help them enough to grab potentials. This is Great exposure Hamza DK. Good job.

This proposal is among the most important proposal, because if it was been approved the most students and lectures of the school will improve the Wikipedia and Wikipedia sister projects and also the gender equity will be revive because 80% of the students and staffs of the school are females.

Not funded edit

Hello Hamza DK, thank you for submitting your grant application. We appreciate your interest in contributing to the mission of the Wikimedia Movement. We are continuously strengthening our grants review process, ensuring that grant funding is being invested towards impactful projects and efforts geared towards contributing to the mission of Wikimedia Movement in the most efficient and effective manner.

After a thorough review of your application, we have decided to not fund your Rapid Fund request. Here are the main reasons for our decision:

  • Lack of coordination and coordination: While you responded that there were no other applications in your local group, community or local region, we did find that you were included as a team member in at least one other application, which was similar to your proposal or there were similar applications by your team members. We request that for any future applications, you and other applicants work together and with your local affiliate in a coordinated manner to avoid duplications of efforts, low impact projects, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • In the past 3 rounds we have declined two or more grant requests from you based on similar feedback and rationale. We noticed that you did not incorporate the feedback in subsequent applications. We request that you take some time to incorporate the feedback given and additionally find opportunities to coordinate and collaborate with your affiliate and team. In order to give you the time needed and to provide clarity around the requirements, you will not be eligible to apply for a Rapid Fund until Cycle 9, May 5th, and you must attend an office hour with the Program Officer in your region before making any application. You can find the schedule of the conversation hours here.
