Strong support Thanks to WMF, open knowledge accessibility has become not just a theoretical approach to knowledge spread and exchange but also a practical methodology, hence the essence of this Project. Spreading and creating Wikipedia awareness in Nigerian Tertiary institutions is one of the best strategy of reaching out to quite a good number of audience and sustainability of this knowledge. Some individuals think Wikipedia has inherent flaws, however through working on this project, the participants will comprehend the necessity for verifiability in Wikipedia articles and learn how information is supported by trustworthy sources to validate the assertions made in the articles. As one of the facilitators for the initiative, I will be physically present. Ogalihillary (talk) 18:50, 5 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Not Funded edit

Hello Accuratecy051, thank you for applying for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed and decided not to fund this application at this time. To effectively implement this project, it is important that the team is able to demonstrate various skills needed to deliver on a project such as this. It might be beneficial for the team to spend time supporting other clearly defined projects to achieve success, and by doing so build the necessary skills for developing and implementing impactful projects in future.
