Not funded
editHello Hasslaebetch, thank you for submitting your grant application. We appreciate your interest in contributing to the mission of the Wikimedia Movement.
After reviewing your application, we have decided to not fund your Rapid Fund request. Here are the main reasons for our decision:
- The proposal is connected to Dagbani Wikimedians User Group and their annual activities. If this is a priority for the team, it should be supported by the annual plan and resources of the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group.
- We appreciate the team's efforts to engage more Moore speakers from Ghana and Burkina Faso. However, it is not clear how exactly it will be done. Activities mentioned are broad. Additionally, no risks are considered regarding sustainability, engagement, and travel.
- If there are already Wikimedia groups in Burkina Faso as mentioned in the response to question 3, then similar projects should be organized by the efforts of the local communities.
- It's unclear the connection of the project and the Art+Feminism campaign. Similarly, connection to Advocacy and Human Rights is not clear. Described learnings are broad.
- Project impact is not aligned with the requested budget. For example, one of the main goals is to engage editors from Burkina Faso but the number of editors mentioned in the metrics section is 5.
