Endorsement from Ahmerd Adam (talk) 09:31, 7 May 2023 (UTC) edit

In my opinion, this project comes at the right time because the region witness the most greenest season during this period and that's why I'm enthuse by the choice of time in organizing the Wiki Loves Earth 2023 campaign within that period and see it as really an effort/attempt to achieve the desired result by the end of the project. But more importantly, I am more well please to see the strategies are well developed to execute the project smoothly. - Ahmerd Adam (talk) 09:31, 7 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

My Opinion regarding this project Awwerl (talk) 16:25, 14 May 2023 (UTC) edit

Frankly, as an eye witness for the recently concluded local activities of Wiki Loves Africa 2023 organized by Wikimedia Fulfulde Community, I'm supporting this proposal to be considered for two reasons; the first is the fact that the project has inject such a strong spirit for commitment and dedication among the entire community members not only the organizers both have given their utmost best in seeing that they made great impact towards attaining the success that was achieved. Secondly, the kind of coordination, cooperation and collaboration each community member put their effort to contribute is of course something that we will be glad to continue having it in and around Wikimedia Communities volunteers both big and the smaller ones. For these reasons above I believe the Wiki Loves Earth project will help to strengthen the bonds among community members, help the community grow as many news volunteers are met through the event and indeed disclose the region of northeastern Nigeria which is clearly not well presented and covered in terms of visual contents. Hello Musaddam Idriss, thank you for applying for this rapid grant. We reviewed and approved the grant in the amount of 1,264,198 NGN (2,744.02 USD) with the following questions:

  • Can you provide more details regarding the specific North East state(s) of  Nigeria where the project will happen. It would be helpful to list the specific locations in order to understand the justification for the travel and accommodation costs mentioned in the budget.
  • In order to ensure transparency, could you provide more specific details regarding the distribution of prizes and awards. How will the prizes be allocated and what will each recipient receive?
  • provide more details regarding the list of the materials that will be branded for this project and how many?

Best regards, (On behalf of the Middle East and Africa regional funds team) ~~~~ YPam (WMF) (talk) 20:20, 21 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
