Review of Wikidata experience edit

Because this proposal outlines a substantial contribution to Wikidata, I have reviewed the experience of the team members on that project. I am setting a high bar here, in assessing all named editors as potential "Wikidata trainers", which for me means they should have solid experience, a strong grasp of project policy, and be responsive to feedback. Editors without these three qualities may not be effective in introducing others to the project and supervising their contributions. This in turn may result in disruption to the project, which is not what anyone wants as a result from this grant process. This review is performed without regard to the specific roles anticipated; it is possible that some team members assessed here will not be involved in any activity resembling Wikidata training within the scope of this grant.

  •   Neutral SAgbley: They have moderate Wikidata experience, but it is almost entirely composed of "distributed game" rather than direct editing. They have no item creations. This is insufficient to make a determination either way.
  •   Endorsed Joy Agyepong: They have substantial experience at Wikidata, including ten extant item creations. Of those ten, two give no indication of notability, but that was over a year ago. They created two items that were deleted, but over a year ago. Filter log shows a number of issues, but all over a year ago. They aoppear to be responsive to feedback. They don't seem to have edited in ten months.
  •  ? There is no global account for "Kezia Somuah".
  •   Neutral Yvey17: They have moderate Wikidata experience, but it is almost entirely composed of "distributed game" rather than direct editing. They have no item creations. This is insufficient to make a determination either way.
  •  ? There is no global account for "Edapaannie".
  •   Neutral Raysoe: They have no edits on any WMF project

In summary, the Wikidata record of this team is weak, but I see no red flags. Bovlb (talk) 05:39, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
