This grant proposal aligns well with the campaign's goals. It effectively builds on the community's work from the 2023 edition, allowing the organizers to seamlessly join the global movement in 2024. The project offers a valuable opportunity and by focusing on plastic pollution, the theme of 2024 Earth Day, it creates locally-relevant knowledge with global significance.

We think that the use of television and radio is an important approach. Leveraging these media channels raises visibility and mobilizes the DRC community around the campaign. This can also serve as an effective advocacy tool to educate the community about plastic pollution.
