• Bridging the gap of sports and games in Nigeria" aims to inform Nigerian youths about the absence of some key sports and games content in the Wikimedia space. Having previously worked with the project lead on other Wikimedia projects, I can vouch for his proficiency in project management. I am confident he will successfully oversee the project, given his skills and experience. As a facilitator, I will offer hands-on guidance and support to both new and existing editors as they make significant contributions to the Wikimedia space."

Increase Wikipedia's reliability

While some believe that Wikipedia has inherent flaws, this project aims to bridge the gap between sports and games to help participants grasp the importance of verifiability in Wikipedia articles.

Not Funded

Hello @Abdullahalaba thank you for applying for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed your application and after a careful consideration, have decided to not fund this application at this time because the project budget is high compared to the modest impact objectives of the project. The impact metrics are low, and given the scope of the project, it could be better supported through a micro-grant within your community.

We strongly recommend that the team applies for a micro-grant instead from the Wikimedia Nigeria User Group.
