Grants talk:Programs/Wikimedia Community Fund/Rapid Fund/Art+Feminism Campaign in Kenya 2022 (ID: 21873519)

Endorsment from Faith Buyaki (talk) edit

The proposal is important because it will bridge the gap in art and feminism in the community by reaching out to more women.

It will be interesting to learn how the Kenyan Coastal community operate, how women there understand issues surrounding them and how they tackle/handle issues on art and feminism. This proposal will have a positive impact on The Kenyan Coastal community and will have some women joining the Wikipedia community. Yes

Comments from the MEA regional funds staff edit

Hello Cmwaura, thanks for submitting your proposal. We appreciate your willingness to run a local Art+Feminism event in Kenya. However, the submitted proposal seems incomplete. You need to review your application and add more details about the planned project:

  • More details about about strategies and activities are required. Currently, it's unclear what you plan to organize and how.
  • You need to review the metrics section and include the metrics and tools you will use to measure the progress and impact of you work.
  • The alignment between budget and intended activities needs to be clear. There are expenses in your budget which are not clear.
  • Please provide more details to understand how you will ensure the safety of participants.
  • It's also unclear how you have informed the other community members interested in the activity beyond the leaders.
  • Please share more details on the strategies and intended impact and partnerships section. Who will you be working with in the coastal region, for instance.

Please note that we will not be able to move forward with this application if the proposal is not complete. Please make indicated changes on Fluxx. Please log in to the Grantee Portal and you will see your application in the 'Proposals need attention' section. Please edit and submit your application by June 24, 2022. Let us know if you have any questions. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 09:08, 16 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
