[Update] Alliances Fund Application - Taiwanese Specialty Tea Society in Europe edit

Hello Taiwanese Specialty Tea Society in Europe,

Thank you for your time and effort in submitting an application for the Wikimedia Alliances Fund. It was a pleasure getting to know you and learning about your work and passion for tea produced in Taiwan.

The ESEAP funds committee has completed the deliberation rounds. Your proposal was not shortlisted for an award in this funding cycle. This was a competitive open grants call for the Alliances Fund grant programme in the ESEAP region. We received a total of USD 413K in grant requests from 6 mission aligned organisations and were able to award about USD 145K to 3 organisations.

The proposals that were shortlisted for an award rated highly across: Impact potential and strategic alignment

  • Organisational capacity and budget
  • Community engagement and newcomer participation
  • Learning and evaluation

While we are not able to support your project at this time, we encourage you to continue conversations with Wikimedia Taiwan (cc-ed Reke) to explore co-implementing a reduced scope of your activities, if this is of interest.

We hope we'll continue to stay in touch and look forward to hearing more about your future work.

Thank you.

On behalf of the ESEAP Funds Committee, JChen (WMF) (talk) 09:28, 30 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
