Documentation of expenses

The WMF Grants Program currently has no record of requesting or receiving documents for this grant, although we acknowledge that these receipts may have been sent. At this time, WMF only required grantees to keep receipts on file and to produce receipts when requested (although it is now our standard practice to request receipts from all grantees). Funds remaining

Hello: Would you be able to provide us with an update of how this underspend of US$ 1,028 was actually used? Did you end up repeating this project in subsequent years? Hi Winifred, I asked in Czech chapter and US$ 1,028 was actually transfered to consolidated grants which are under supervision of Wikimedia Foundations and ruled by Wikimedia Czech Republic. This transaction took place in 2010. This was part of the agreement between user:Danny B. and Erik Möller in autumn 2010, however we do not have any traceable links on Meta or in our inner chapter about this deal between them (or I do not know about it). However, as I understand, the main part of this deal was that money from older grants (like this one) will not be send back to Wikimedia Foundation but they will be use as a part of larger budget obtained from Foundation. However, I am not sure if the last part of deal was done with Erik, Barry or even with Asaf. But money were transfered to FIO bank account 2011-01-25 and merged with Mediagrant money.

PS: And yes, this project successfully continued and it is still working (actually 4th round, second was paid by private sponsor, third partly by money from Mediagrant and from surplus money from sponsor), however now under Mediagrant. --Chmee2 (talk) 18:56, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
