It sounds like what you're suggesting is a dedicated committee just for gender-based harassment that targets women. Could you be more specific about how you see it working? Is there an existing Wikipedia process that your vision specifically resembles? ("I see this working a lot like the Help Desk" or "I wouldn't do this like the Help Desk. Instead it would be...") My initiall impression parallel's DarkFrog's, this proposal seems to simply restate the anti-harassment campaign's objective, segmented for gender harassment/discrimination but without distinguishing any specific policy, culture, organization, culture or technology-based innovation for remedying status quo harms. Furthermore, I predict the success of your project will, at least in part, be determined by persuading wikipedians of the merits of your project's ideological nomenclature. Calling it a Feminist Committee, is unavoidably polarizing, which could encourage and empower editors to speak up or turn off potential would-be allies who might agree with you on a case-by-case basis, but for a variety of reasons, might not because of their experiences/perceptions of what the Feminist labeling means to for them to individually endorse. • That's kind of my thought as well. I know that specifically calling it a feminist committee would likely open it up for trolling as well, given that specific Wikipedia committees and panels (ie, ARBCOM) tend to be harassment magnets. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 03:38, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
