Grants talk:IEG/Daily Positive Student Internship
Doesn't appear to meet the eligibility criteria
editThanks for submitting this idea. Unfortunately, it does not appear to meet the eligibility criteria for an Individual Engagement Grant project - namely, that projects should improve Wikimedia's existing websites. So, I've marked the status as ineligible in its current state. Feel free to keep working on this draft and resubmit at a later time if something changes with the overall project idea, or if you can clarify how these internships would have concrete impact on a site like Wikipedia or otherwise directly contribute to our mission. And thanks again for participating.
Submission updates
editThank you for your feedback. We have revised the project details to outline how the intern will directly impact Wikimedia and its websites. Thank you again for the opportunity to submit.
Request for Review
editHi there We have restructured our IEG proposal to work within the eligibility criteria. We believe that the Daily Positive Student Internship is nwo closely aligned with Wikimedia's vision and demonstrates how we will have an impact on its work and strategic goals. We kindly as that the edits be reviewed as the proposal is currently marked 'ineligible'. Many thanks Daily Positive
- Thanks for updating and re-submitting. We will re-review this proposal and get back to you to confirm round 1 eligibility within the next few days. Best wishes Siko (WMF) (talk) 20:58, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
Still ineligible
editHi, we've completed review of your updated proposal. IEGrants are intended for individuals who have already demonstrated involvement within the Wikimedia movement. However, your project appears to be a request from an organization, the individuals listed as participants do not appear to be active members of the Wikimedia community, nor will they be the individuals completing the work as it seems you plan to regrant the funds to interns. As such, your proposal has been determined ineligible. Thanks for your interest and again wishing you best of luck. Siko (WMF) (talk) 22:21, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
