We would like to thank the FDC staff for their work. We're still reviewing the assessment, but should come across any question or clarification needed we'll address it here. Stephane (WMCH) (talk) 08:29, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

editHi there, a quick note (mostly for the record).
When the assessment reads "As Wikimedia CH outsources the supply chain work, we wonder how they will ensure data privacy with outside clients", we're not sure we're all on the same page here.
- As far as orders involving plugs are concerned, data privacy is the same as for any commercial exchange: the client (say, Agence Universitaire Francophone) orders plugs, they pay, we have it shipped it to them and they run their own deployement. All transaction records are stored internally.
- As far as downloads are concerned, those on Kiwix.org are only tracked using basic analyitics; those on iOS and Android Store are subject to Apple and Google's standard confidentiality clauses;
- As far as end users are concerned, because it is not editable, Kiwix does not log any type of usage (and even if it did, where would it send it to? It is offline).
