  • Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos at Wikimedia Nigeria Imo State Network encourages the Imo State community to join the global annual campaign to add photos to articles lacking images. This initiative promotes the use of digital media files collected from various Wikimedia photography contests and other editors contributions that helps to enhance Wikipedia articles. Photos are essential for conveying accurate information, improving reader experience, and making articles engaging. The campaign also helps to sharpen the skills of both new and existing editors.

We'll promote the campaign through our social media channels, including WhatsApp groups and Instagram. Effective communication strategies will be employed to ensure widespread awareness and engagement with the campaign.

Yes, participants are equipped with smartphones and laptops, ensuring their full participation in the campaign.

After the in-person training, we'll follow up with participants to ensure they follow the proper steps necessary to add a photo to an article.
