Tell us how you'll carry out your project. Be sure to answer the following questions:

1. Are you doing one editathon or training or a series of editathons or trainings?

Three days of Photowalk and One day of training and workshop

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using. we will informed people by creating Whatsapp group

I will share via Hausa Wikimedians General WhatsApp group which I'm already in, and I will share via other social media of Hausa Community groups which I belong

3. How will you let participants know about the edit-a-thon? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

In my past project, I have already created a WhatsApp group where I am engaging with the participants. I will use this WhatsApp group to communicate information to the participants.

For example: User:Kaizenify

User:Mahuta

5. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?

For the photowalk, we will use cameras for quality photography. For training, the participants will use smartphones.

6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

I will use our dedicated WhatsApp Group for engaging participants

7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

As a dedicated Wikimedian living in Sokoto State, my focus has primarily been on contributing to Wikipedia. I have observed that many Wikipedia articles related to Sokoto are lacking in visual content. To address this gap, I am proposing a project to capture and upload photographs of various areas in Sokoto to improve the quality of content on Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia.

In preparation for this project, I have reached out to experienced editor Mahuta, who previously conducted a successful Wikipedia awareness project in Gusau, Zamfara State, which I attended. Mahuta has agreed to assist in facilitating this project. Together, we will organize training sessions for participants and lead a photowalk tour.

Additionally, we plan to invite two professional photographers who will provide expertise and guidance on photography skills during the photowalk and training workshops. Their involvement will ensure that the images captured are of high quality and meet the standards required for Wikimedia Commons.
