Briefly summarize your project proposal.

The aim of this Photo walk is to capture some if not all the natural Heritage sites around Enugu Metropolis and it's environs and upload them on Wikimedia Commons during the Wiki Loves Earth Campaign .

  • Wiki Loves Africa Photo Walk in Enugu is schedule to take place on Saturday the 20th day of July 2024 and the uploading of the photos will start from the following day the 21st of July 2024 till 31st of July 2024.
  • The take off point is Okpara Square, Enugu. Participants are to assemble by 8am at Okpara Square, transport will be made available to convey them around Enugu Metropolis and it's environs to take pictures of Natural sites and Heritages.
  • Pictures taken during this photo walk will be uploaded to Wikicommons during the on going Wiki Loves Earth Campaign in Nigeria thereby improving visibility of Natural Heritage sites in Enugu in particular and Nigeria generally.

  • The photo walk is scheduled to start by 8am on Saturday the 20th day of July 2024 and end by 5 pm same day with physical training on how to take good pictures, names and location of heritage sites in Enugu and it's environs. There will be training on navigating the Wiki Commons on the 21st July 2024 Then the uploading of the pictures will start from 21st day of July till 31st July 2024.
  • It's a 12 days activity .

Participants will be trained on Natural Heritage sites in Enugu, on how to take good pictures and Wikicommons rules of engagement.
  • Yes! There will be 2 trainings, a day photowalk and 11 days for uploading.

All the participant have android phones. We will rent 2 Cameras. There will be training on names of Natural Heritage sites in Enugu and how to navigate Wiki Commons.

She is the organizer of Nnamdi Azikiwe Library and Surplus People in the Universities Research Group Art and Feminism (A+F) Wikipedia edit-a-thon. She joined.the Wikimedia movement in 2017 and have been an active editor and program organizer since then.
