The proposed grant project aims to organize a Wikipedia Workshop at Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies in Kano. The workshop will be facilitated by graduate students from the college, with the goal of enhancing digital literacy skills, promoting knowledge sharing, and expanding the presence of Islamic and legal studies on Wikipedia.

- We have developed a comprehensive communication strategy that encompasses various channels to ensure maximum reach and engagement within our target participants, like On-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing list and SMS message.

- The participants have the equipment to participate and contribute high quality content by coming with their laptops, Smart phones and other supportive devices.
6. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?
- We will establish an exclusive online community platform like WhatsApp group where participants can connect with each other, share experiences, and seek ongoing support.
7. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?
- Wikipedia Workshop have never taken place at the Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies, Kano. While this college is among the most popular colleges in Kano state and this college has almost six thousands students whose study under the department of Hausa language and most of them don't know on how to make a research and contribute to the Hausa Wikipedia. Therefore, through this project we will use this opportunity to bring a changes by recruiting the new editors for the Hausa Wikipedia. In advance, the less improved articles that are related to the college will be improved through this project.
In additional, two of the project's facilitators are graduate students of the college.
