  • The reach out is to create opportunities for librarians in Anambra state to come together to re-activate their user pages and engage in Wikimedia activities for AfLib Week #1Lib1Ref. There are many librarians in Anambra state that need to add their voices and visibility in the African space during the library week. This project offers the influence, knowledge and facilitation for increased participation in the African Library Week.

The participants have smart phones and laptops. They also have reasonable skills in information and digital literacies. However, not every librarian in Anambra has a Wikipedia User name. Besides, some that have user names do not engage in edit-a-thon. Their pages are stagnant. Thus, old members will be encouraged to re-activate their pages and start editing, especially with the #1Lib1Ref AfLib Week. The new members will sign up and the Wikipedia movement.
