Outcome

My Wikimania experience was shared via a post with Albanian Wikipedians. For our community being able to attend for the first time was especially useful and with a high ROI I believe.

Some key developments that have come out of this experience: localisation into Albanian of Autowikibrowser, Week of writing on cultural heritage, WP:MED translation participation, validation of some key initiatives about Education Outreach etc.

Connections

Wikimania made it possible for me to put faces behind user names, people I've communicated virtually for a long time. Especially useful for me was meeting Dimitar Dimitrov and people behind Education Outreach.
