Outcome

New Creation: What was one useful outcome that was created at the event for the Wikimedia movement?

One outcome of my first Wikimania is to put an idea into the Workshop: Making Ideas into Action which is named Women showing up with hard skills. We talked about the challenge to inspire the community for more visual contributions to depict women with their skills at the Wikiwomen's Lunch and at Video Community Coordination Roundtable .

Einladung zur Präsentation "My first Wikimania"

In addition to the excellent moderated discussions during the Pre-Conference Education and during the Wikimania Conference itself under the Meetups and workshops, I had extensive discussions with Wikepedians different nationalities and interest situation within the Wikipedia. Since myself the subjects are women and video to Wikipedia I was particularly interested in the interview with Victor Grigas, Storyteller from the Wikimedia Foundation. We have recorded it. Also I had further converstations on the topic of women and video, I´ve learnd a lot and enjoyed so much the diversity of input and exchange.

My offer to interested ones and the community are Presentations whith the content of "My first Wikimania" - so the issue "Making connections with other people is what Wikimania is all about" goes on. On my Wikimania 2015 User Page [1] you will find a list of the events I joined, with outputs of the groups/teams on the next klick.

And of course I will go on with the project seen above :-)
