Shared Experience:

What is one way you shared something from your experience with your community (either locally or globally), after the event?

An instant outcome immediately after the Wikimania was the presentations and experience sharing during a day-long Wikimedia workshop at w:Farook_College. The workshop was attended by some 100 strong aspirants of whom many would begin their first editing ventures in Wikimedia projects.( ml:വിക്കിപീഡിയ:പഠനശിബിരം/കോഴിക്കോട്_2). Besides this, various articles, photographs and notes were shared through social networks connected with ml wikimedia, such as Facebook etc. The participation and involvement in Wikimania has been used to leverage several upcoming projects in ml.wiktionary, ml.wikisource etc. by a mix of mass media news coverage.

Connections

Apart from reinforcing the inspiring relations with fellow wikimedians and WMF staff whom I have already met and acquainted with during previous occasions, quite a many new connections were made. Notable among the ones with whom quality time was spent are User:Bjankuloski06, Thiemo Kreuz (WMDE), User:Pgallert, Lane Rasberry, User:Sebastian Wallroth , User:बिप्लब आनन्द, User:Nabin K. Sapkota,User:Armineaghayan. Besides, I was able to interact with all attendees arrived from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Middle East sharing unique community and contribution experiences with them.

Anything else

Apart from many presentations, I had participated in the Hackathon, OSM mobile workshop and Wikidata sessions. I am planning to prepare and publish a series of blog posts detailing each of such instances with my own observations and suggestions.
