As a result of a conversation at Wikimania, I agreed to organise the first Wiki Loves Monuments in the UAE. Also discussed the ideas on how to get Freedom of panorama in the UAE.

During the pre-conference days, I spent most of the time in the Hackathon area to diversify my learning. This provided me the opportunity to ask some questions directly to Wikidata and WMF-Analytics team.

Connections

This is something great about Wikipedia conference. I was able to catch up with many existing Wikipedia contacts, and lot of people from the South Asian community. We sat together and we shared our experience.

Anything else

It was great to be in SA, and I enjoyed each and every moment of it. A huge thanks to the WMF for the scholarship.
