Outcome

Option 3: New Creation: What was one useful outcome that was created at the event for the Wikimedia movement?

Add a link to something new that was created as a result of your participation in this event (for example, you might link to a new tool that you and your co-participants worked on at the Hackathon, or to pages created in a workshop you participated in).

The highlight of my (overall) amazing experience at Wikimania 2015 was my participation in the IdeaLab session. For months had been thinking about starting a program to encourage disadvantaged citizens (the ill, disabled, mentally or physically handicapped etc.) to add value to the Wikimedia movement while gaining multiple benefits (pride, acceptance, social inclusion) themselves. At the IdeaLab session I was encouraged and assisted to shape my idea and publish it with the title I originally had in mind:Wikitherapy. Now I am looking forward to finishing with some urgent personal business so I can dedicate time to building on the idea and submitting a grant proposal:)

Connections

Met many wonderful new people from all over the world, so many that I'm afraid I will forget to mention all of them: Fabio, Armine, Marti, Roxanna, Romy, Carlos, Cezar, Waala, Samir, Laura, Asaf... and so many more. I have already networked with most of them on social media and future collaborations will follow. An hour-long discussion with Asaf Bartov was very helpful: he offered very useful advice on improving the situation in Greek Wikipedia.

A big BRAVO and GRACIAS to the "yellow army" of volunteers:-)

Hopefully I will return to this section in the near future to share some fun aspects of Wikimania 2015 that are worth seeing... (unfortunately I've run into serious problems at home, apologies for the brevity of the report).
