Description of your participation:
I was a speaker at FOSSASIA 2014 where I delivered a talk on mediawiki extension - Annotator. I also took part in panel discussion regarding Women in IT sector. I met various participants from several open source communities. I also met Cat Allman (Open Source Programs Office at Google) and Stephanie Taylor (Program Manager, Google). It was an awesome learning experience interacting with different people from different areas.

What lessons where learnt that could help others in similar events?
FOSSASIA was a well organized event with multiple sessions running simultaneously. The most important thing in such kind of events is sharing your experience and interacting with developers of different open source projects.

What impact did your participation have on the Wikimedia Mission goals of Increased Reach, Increased Quality, Increased Credibility, Increased and Diversified Participation?
I delivered a talk on my GSoC project - Annotator extension. In that, I explained the technologies used, shown the demo and basic functionality. I also talked about the possible future features and their implementations and received a nice response from the community. I also took part in the panel discussion regarding Women in IT sector where I talked about programs like OPW and Wikimedia's participation in it.
