Outcome

I had a meeting with current and potential future participants in The Wikipedia Library. We planned some new initiatives/projects for the upcoming year and discussed means of creating collaborations between Wikipedians and libraries more generally. I also decided to engage with some of the cultural problems identified as contributing to Wikipedia's systemic bias. Work in this area is ongoing.

Connections

In addition to meeting old friends, I had productive conversations with a few members of the WMF and other teams involved in innovative projects. I also participated in a couple of research projects, one related to mobile web and VE usability, the other in relation to the gender gap.
