Welcome back from Wikimania 2015!

Option 3: New Creation: What was one useful outcome that was created at the event for the Wikimedia movement?
Add a link to something new that was created as a result of your participation in this event (for example, you might link to a new tool that you and your co-participants worked on at the Hackathon, or to pages created in a workshop you participated in).

I got some ideas from the Wikimania 2015 Hackathon Showcase, so I made a small tool using jQuery + Bootstrap and two MediaWiki APIs in order to get the total size (in bytes) of the articles inside a category, which is useful for measuring the impact of the different "edit-a-thons" being carried out by Wikimedia Argentina and Wikimedia Chile. I'm also planning to add other functionalities soon (i.e.: bytes added to the articles after a certain timestamp, etcetera). Repo is here: (MIT License).

Participating in "Educator strategies to start working with Wikipedia", a pre-conference workshop.

As in every Wikimania, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet new people, from all around the world, with the same interests and values as me, which is always an enriching experience that strengthens my commitment to the movement. I vividly remember the "Wikipedian self help group: Collecting the most annoying, beautiful & hilarious memories of Wikimedians", which was an exhilarating experience to share with other people (mostly unknown to me). I've made good contacts from those "discussion rooms".

Anything elseEdit

As always, thank you for letting me participate in this amazing conference!
