Outcome

Option 1: Shared Experience: What is one way you shared something from your experience with your community (either locally or globally), after the event?

I created a sk:Redaktor:Jetam2/Wikimania2016 blog post about the experience. I shared the report at the Village Pump on sk.wiki, on the WikimediaSK mailing list and Wikimedia SK and Wikipedia SK Facebook pages. Further sharing is expected at a Wikimedia Slovakia meeting that is scheduled for August 2016 where we will discuss what we can use in our community.

Connections

Wikimania is, primarily about connections. Discussion sessions were my favourite type this year. I enjoyed the workshop on harassment, discussions about the future of CEE and Wikimania. KuboF and I were also had a fruitful meeting with the Affiliation Committee. I met many people informally as well. As a result of one of those meetings, I have promised to take up the challenge of #100 Wikidays. Having received wikiliterature and wikiswag, I already passed most of it on to people who were not present at Wikimania.

Looking forward to 2017, hopefully I will be able to participate even more actively. Thank you for the support!
