I had the pleasure to participate in the Education Pre Conference track, particularly sharing the Educational experiences in Latin America an interactive panel, moderated by Melina Masnatta. In this activity I met Paola Ricaurte from México and also shared the panel with Roxana Sordo from Uruguay, which I alreadhy new from Iberoconf, last year. After the presentation, we had an interactive discussion with at least 8 people participating from different countries including the Macedonia, México, Philippines and United States.
I also had a great chance to meet Felipe Hoffa, a Chilean that works for Google; it was great to share some thoughts and ideas with him. Also, being able to talk to Pau Giner, -a Spaniard that works at the WMF and who showed the translation tool- was very nice, and i believe that more can come from this conversations.
This conference also granted a great chance to engage into several conversations with people from WM Spain, and WM Argentina, to coordinate future activities. I personally also had the chance to talk with the French speakers, including members from WM Canada, WM France, WM Belgium and WM Tunisia, people from Brazil and from WM Amical among others.
