What will be the outputs of your project and how will those outputs contribute to advancing a specific Movement Strategy Initiative

  1. Building a visible impactful internal stakeholder forum / community.
  2. It will help in discovering the gaps in stakeholder engagement and community building
  3. Identifying, accommodating and integrating underrepresented communities in the movement in that region.
  4. An increased awareness of the movement can be achieved in that region
  5. It help determine setting up a physical regional hub is possible and important .
  6. Pointer to get potential partners can be recognised,tracked and brought on board
  7. How to generate establish community engagement , bonds and building in West Africa.
  8. Advocacy development and tracking.
  9. Exploring equity and inclusion.
  10. Retaining new editors and members.
  11. Figuring a leadership development framework.
  12. Creating a onboarding,membership and leadership pathways.

It cuts across many of them like Coordinating across stakeholders,investing in skill and leadership development but it is mainly hinged on Equity and Inclusion

When do you intend to begin this project and when will it be completed?
I intend to begin on the 6th of April and end on the 25th of July
Where will your project activities be happening?
Online and Four West African Countries in Wikimedia movement that are chosen .Online because I am looking at getting more countries in West Africa through the network i will build in another programme I am in that cuts across Africa.
Are you collaborating with other communities or affiliates on this project? Please provide details of how partners intend to work together to achieve the project goal.
I am working first with the leaders/ representatives of Wikimedia in West Africa we have in touch and they are excited to participate in the exploration and possibility the hub.We are going to work together with knowledge sharing,collaboration and connection with and to members .They are also critical in data collection where a lot surveys and data analysis will be explored.
What specific challenge will your project be aiming to solve? And what opportunities do you plan to take advantage of to solve the problem?
The project is aimed to concretizing assumptions,developing data points that establish outline goals ,implementing and deploying solutions.I plan on using knowledge sharing and collaboration to tackle this problem.I believe if a shared / intersection on interests can be established ,it will go a long way.

I have already established a line of communication with community leaders via email and intend to continue with this and if need be update.

Zoom,Slack,Gsuite,Infogram,Flourish.I intend to use zoom for online meetings because it can be recorded and the recordings are okay.Slack for communication,Gsuite for real time collaboration ,Infogram or Flourish for data visualization.
