Goals

edit

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went? Yes I did, and I am happy with the execution and outcome of the project.

Outcome

edit

Please report on your original project targets. Please be sure to review and provide metrics required for Rapid Grants.

Learning

edit

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?
  1. Certificates of participants uploads on social media created awareness.
  2. The social media campaign went well, it attracted participants.
  3. Through the mass media, we declared that there is a Wikipedia in the Bashkir language. In our country, when they talk about Wikipedia, most imply Wikipedia in Russian. Now more people know about Wikipedia in the Bashkir language.
  • What did not work so well? Everything worked well. All my requests for changes have been accepted and approved.
  • What would you do differently next time? I have nothing to say.

Anything else

edit

Anything else you want to share about your project?

The Bashkir Wikipedia will turn 18 years old, we are going to publish a book on this event. We have announced a fundraiser for the publication of the book[1]. Our winners of the contests transferred part of their prizes to the account of the publication of the book.

In the List of Wikipedias by expanded sample of articles we were in 65th place, after the competition we are in 61st place.

In this television game, Wikipedia users played with Bashkir teachers who use Wikipedia in their lessons.

We are grateful to RapidGrants for providing us with funding to ensure the success of our events.
