Goals

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?

I expected that, in order to reach such a high figure, the response by the user community in Asturian was greater. On the other hand, I positively value the presence of Wikipedia members in other languages. The overall participation was a bit low, but within expectations. We gain a strong point in terms of institutional support and media impact that can help us in the future.

Learning

What worked well? What didn't work so well? What would you do differently next time?

It worked very well institutional support. They were present the mayor of Bimenes, the President of the Academy of Asturian language and the director of the office responsible for Asturian affairs in the Government of Asturias.

It did not work so well the wikitakes about Ruta los molinos. Not knowing well the area played against us and delayed the planned plan.

Next time we would be sure to have closed the total number of participants.

• Food and drinks = 176,8€ Saturday dinner was paid by the Town Hall, but we needed an amount for other food expenses (friday dinner, saturday sandwiches and special cake for the celebration).
• Gas costs and tolls = 117.84 € (for the travel of some users and organizational travels)
• Reimbursement of ticket: 308€ (flight from Barcelona)
• Possible bank fees to reimburse the ticket to users: 15€ (approximately depending on the bank)
• Accommodation (2 nights) = 488€

Anything else

• The event had some repercussion in social networks, newspapers of great circulation[1][2][3] and in the television news program of Asturian public television.[4] (it's completed in youtube)
