Learning edit
Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well? All the project goals were met. The experienced editors in the community mentored the less experienced ones which made the project a success. Through the project, I realized that the participants would love to have more events to contribute to as they were requesting to know when the next event will be on.
- What did not work so well? The change of the Internet bundles to be more expensive was a bit of a challenge. The telecommunication companies have raised the prices for the internet bundles thus the community members had to experience a low connectivity for the first event but this improved in the second event as we had a contingency plan in the budget so we had to cover it.
- What would you do differently next time? Before application of any grant funds, we will have to conduct a thorough research of the internet bundles first to avoid using the normal prices we are used to from the past. This will enable for the community to have a good internet connection thus making it easy to contribute.
