Goals edit

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?

We haven't achieved our targets this year. We've faced during our sessions, IP block issues. It's seems like it's due to our mobile internet providers IPs that are banned several times. So during our meetings (online and in persons), it was pretty impossible to edit wikimedia websites.

Learning edit

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?
    • The mobilization of participants during the contest
    • The commitment of participants motivated by the desire to win a prize
  • What did not work so well?
    • IP block was the main issue we've faced. It has discouraged many participants.
    • We weren't able to organize our in person activities in our partner Campus numerique francophone de Cotonou's rooms because of restaurations.
  • What would you do differently next time?
    • Reinforcing Partnership with Campus Numerique francophone de Cotonou and Institut français du Bénin in order to organize activities in their rooms and avoid mobile internet providers.
    • Use online meeting mainly for awarness and supports
    • Remotivate discouraged participants
