- Wiki knowledge Club is a forum that enables new users to enroll into wikimedia project and let them with required knowledge to learn fundamental know how about ways to contribute into wikimedia projects and other required tools. To start with, we will start this project into a community college of Kathmandu where around 20-30 students of undergraduate students will be enrolled into wiki knowledge club and teach team the basic know how of wiki projects and open knowledge within the period of 13 hours course.
From this project we expect the following outcomes;
- Introduction of new users in wiki environment
- Increased active users.
- Creation of new articles in Nepali Wikipedia.
- Improvement of stub articles.
- New photos will be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons
- Addition of new items in wikidata

Tell us how you'll carry out your project. What will you and other organizers spend your time doing?
- We will conduct wiki knowledge class in Peoples’ Campus of Kathmandu for 20-30 undergraduate students. We will conduct 13 days classes and each class session will be for 1 hour. We have discussed on this project in the community village pump and formed two teams for this purpose; one team will work on the management of the project and another team will be for operation of the project which works on the resource person for the classes. Management team will manage the classes, coordination with the resource person and the college focal person whereas the operation team will coordinate with the resource person and closely work with them.
How will you let others in your community know about your project (please provide links to where relevant communities have been notified of your proposal, and to any other relevant community discussions)? Why are you targeting a specific audience?
- We have discussed this project in the village pump with the community members and started the project only after the approval from the community. We have also formed two teams for this project from the latter mentioned discussion.

What will you have done at the end of your project? How will you follow-up with people that are involved with your project?
- During the project period we will closely monitor the activities of the participants through event dashboard and at the end of the project we will keep in touch with the participants to engage them in wikimedia projects.

- 30 new users will be introduced in wiki environment
- 10 active users will be increased.
- 100 new articles will be created in Nepali Wikipedia.
- 50 stub articles will be improved to 300 words and 3000 bytes article.
- 100 new photos will be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons
- 50 new items will be added in wikidata
- Reports submitted by the participants regarding effectiveness of Wiki Knowledge club
