Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?
We have fully met our goals and more: the event generated significant interest in Wikipedia and wiki projects in general among speakers of Uzbek. A notice about the contest was shared by several influential bloggers on their Telegram channels, resulting in over 10,000 views.
In addition, the number of members in the Telegram group of the Wikimedians of the Uzbek language User Group more than doubled during the course of the contest, and members of the group asked dozens of questions on taking part in the contest.
Finally, because of the large number of similar questions, contest organizers recorded a video lesson explaining how to take part in the contest and how to contribute to wiki projects. It is the first video lesson in the Uzbek language on contributing to wiki projects, and currently has a 100% rating.

(Another 173 articles were added to the list, but did not meet the criteria of the contest - most were existing articles that were added to the list without any improvements.) - What worked well?
The event generated much interest in Wikipedia, and we managed to recruit nearly half a dozen new editors.
- What did not work so well?
The fact that the most active organizers of the event are based in various cities and countries created several logistical challenges, and accomplishing rather simple tasks took much longer than expected. Specifically, winners received the gift cards, T-shirts and certificates over a period of two months because of the fact that only a couple of the users were able to help with logistics
- What would you do differently next time?
Next time we should try to ensure that there are at least two active Wikimedians based in one city, particularly in Tashkent, who can help with logistics. In addition, we will develop a more accurate budget.

We had $125 (1,310,000 UZS) remaining. After getting approval from the WMF in writing, we spent the remaining funds on gift cards for the three winners of the 2021 Book Month.
