Goals edit

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?

Competition of Natural Sciences which was carried out by us was aimed at popularizing Wikipedia projects in Georgia and increasing the number of Wikipedia articles in chemistry, physics and biology. We fully achieved all the goals that we had.
in short, our goals:
  1. Recruit new editors: 8 new editors participated
  2. Increase skills for existing editors: already existing 8 participants took part, which we suppose to have increased our experience in Wikipedia.
  3. Create new articles about Natural Sciences: 297 new articles were created.
  4. Popularization of Georgian Wikipedia: we assume that with the help of this competition we were able to increase the recognition of Wikipedia and Wikimedia projects in Georgia.
  5. Improve Wikipedia content on natural sciences: the importance of the articles has been increased.

Learning edit

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?
Starting from the stage of calculating the whole contest, to the end of the whole project everything went without any problems.
  • What did not work so well?
Nothing in reality.
  • What would you do differently next time?
In the next, we plan to hold the same contest on a different topic.
