Project Plan edit

We are trying to conduct a series of Wikipedia education classes at 3 different colleges of Rajbiraj, Nepal to boost the college students about the usefulness of Wikipedia and Wikimedia projects. Our initial goal behind this event is to engage college students to Wikipedia and make them a regular reader and volunteer for our community. We will sort the interested students and give them a 2 day training classes to develop their Wikipedia editing skills and knowledge about Wikimedia movement.

We have a good volunteers team to carry out this project.

How will you let others in your community know about your project (please provide links to where relevant communities have been notified of your proposal, and to any other relevant community discussions)? Why are you targeting a specific audience?

We have notified the community on Village pump- link.

What will you have done at the end of your project? How will you follow-up with people that are involved with your project?

We will follow-up the interested participants of this project on Social media platform. We will create a telegram group for further discussion.

Yes, we are doing offline activities but we are aware of the current situation and advisory issued by the local government, WMF notice and WHO guidelines.
