Grants:Project/Rapid/Olaniyan Olushola/Wikipedia Library Program with Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta
I was invited to Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta on the 7th of February to celebrate Wikipedia:Meetup/AfroCROWD/FUNAAB Black History Month Black History Month Celebration with Wikipedia edit-a-thon. One of the fall of the event is that we can tap from enormous resources in working with the Librarians at the university. It will also serve as a means of introducing and training Wikipedia among new set of volunteers. This project will focus on capacity development, Since, no one can be a Wikipedian in One day. I plan to organize a 3-day Wikipedia training and edi-a-thon for the Librarians at the University.Already, i have contacted with Wikipedia Library arm of the Foundation and they have decided to support me and my team on this project.
