Learning edit

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?

It was a great experience for both the organizers and the participants as we were all able to learn new things about Wikidata.

The participants contributed beyond expectations because they understand and ready to add their quota to making Wikidata a better source of information.

  • What did not work so well?

On this aspect, most of the participants were affected by poor internet connections within the region, most participants were only able to create or improve items of Media Personalities on Wikidata at night.

  • What would you do differently next time?

The subsequent training and editathon will be structured in a way that participants will be able to share their experiences and challenges on Wikidata to other participants so that all editors (both new and old) can have better understanding about Wikidata.
