Learning

- What worked well?
The people turned out more than expected and are excited that they could contribute in Igbo Language. They also feel the project should continue because it is a way of transmitting our culture from generation to generation.
- What did not work so well?
The people turned out more than I expected but some started disappearing because they could not afford transport fare to attend meet ups and that there will be no stipend for them.
- What would you do differently next time?
If it's possible, I will advise we find a way of reimbursing the attendees their transport fares in other to motivate them.

editAnything else you want to share about your project? The trainings helped to make the Igbo Wikimedians User Group Anambra Hub more active and also raise some new and dedicated participants who also has the opportunity to attend the WikiIndaba Conference and also let more. The edit a the in Anambra State made the User Group more popular gaining recognitions from the Local Government Chairman with One of the dedicated participants Mrs Jane Onuoha also attended some events and seminars where the Igbo Wikimedians User Group was invited to talk about Wikimedia and the different ways to be a contributor.
