Learning
editProjects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well? The participants generally understood the theme well and were very excited to go out and collect relevant media content. The students from Lamu really took the spotlight with this project.
- What did not work so well? Some participants received their standard compensation for the photo contests but failed to upload any content.
- What would you do differently next time? We are currently brainstorming on how to prevent the issue raised above from recurring.
Finances
editGrant funds spent
editPlease describe how much grant money you spent for approved expenses, and tell us what you spent it on.
Remaining funds
editDo you have any remaining grant funds? Grant funds remaining amount to 350 KES (around 3 USD). We would like to use the remaining grant funds on our next photo contest which will be Wiki Loves Earth.
Anything else
editAnything else you want to share about your project? Wiki Loves Folklore is a very well run photo contest. The organizers are very prompt with their responses and there are general no hitches. Looking forward to the 2023 edition.
