| 3 edit-a-thon events, including two trainings leading up to the main edit-a-thon | Training events were held March 26 and April 9. The main Edit-a-thon event was held April 23, 2019. | This format was very successful. The training events welcomed and worked with 3 particular classes at IUP that had integrated the series of Edit-a-thon events into their curriculum. Because of the trainings and curriculum integration, these students were much better prepared to contribute to the main event. I would like to repeat this format in the future and continue to use the strategy of recruiting and working with particular courses that I can visit and invite to training sessions. |

- What worked well?
What really worked well was working with specific classes - in a training/series model. I was able to contact professors in my department who were teaching classes related to the Art+Feminism goals (women's and gender studies, writing, art).
- What did not work so well?
We used two rooms for the main Edit-a-thon but I don't think we best organized how we would use this. We had a lot of students coming in at different times and it was difficult to make sure that everyone got the training they needed.
- What would you do differently next time?
Next time we decided to use one room as a "Training only" space where participants who were just coming in could listen to ongoing training and exercises. The other room would just be for editing once participants felt ready.
