Learning
editProjects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
We were able to create a line of communication among the leadership of the contest, this transcended in the coordination of our social media discussions, talking existing volunteers to act as facilitators for training sessions. This motivated existing and old participants into contributing competitively.
- What did not work so well?
The terrible internet connection, our training sessions were virtual, this made us have multiple classes where the same things were taught. It also made the sessions expensive, boring and frustrating.
- What would you do differently next time?
Communicate properly the prizes to be won and emphasize that no cash will be sent to any winner.
