Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?
- The goal of Wiki-agripo 3.0 was to add content on more than 300 villages of Cameroon’s North West on Wikipedia by more than 10 contributors. Overall, we are happy with the project because 11 contributors shared more than 416 articles related to North-West Cameroon (progress of more than 315%). The participants have continued to add articles on villages of North-West Cameroon since the project ended.

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
- We mobilise 28 interested participants on our volunteerism mechanism -- people were motivated to write articles on villages of North West Cameroon. However only 10 new editors (less than 35%) succeed to publish articles online
- Overall quality of the Cameroon portal need to continue to be improved. Unless limited source of information, many articles are well written like Bangulan or Nygen_Muwa. Additional articles are also written on historic event or personnalities of the region like Catastrophe du lac Nyos or Bernard Folon.
The Cameroon portal has 8037 articles now and it remain the second portal in Africa, after Algeria (but now with less than 1580 articles of difference).
- What didn't work?
- Finding free-use information on rural area like villages is complicated. Therefore, participants had to collect available information to maintain dynamic. It remains a more difficult task for beginners.
- What would you do differently next time?
- This experience helps us to develop a new team of engaged contributors. This proven strategy is effective and productive and we will continue to invest in a progressive turn-over of small team of engaged contributors to consolidate impact and results.

- Human resource (bill 7) = 800 000 Fcfa ($1432 USD)
- Romm of 1 edit-a-ton session (bill 8) = 75 000 Fcfa ($134 USD)
Total: $3532 USD. Additional cost are supported by Agripo. The room of 2 edit-a-tons session are given by a supporter of the association
- NB: Grant was received in XAF and all expenses are paid in XAF (local currency in Cameroon). The exchange rate applied is 1 US$ = 559 XAF
