Your draft implementation plan document should address the following questions clearly:
- What movement strategy initiative or goal are you addressing?
- What activities will you be doing to address that initiative?
- What do you expect will happen as a result of your activities? How do those outcomes address the movement strategy initiative?
- How will you measure or evaluate your activities? What tools or methods will you use to evaluate your activities?
To create a draft implementation plan, we recommend the use of a logic model, which will help you and your team think about goals, activities, outcomes, and other factors in an organized way. Please refer the following resources to develop a logic model:

- A diff blog will also be written about it, and a virtual meeting with the language diveristy community is planned.

What activities have you completed to produce this draft plan?
- Interviews with 13 different language communities. The interviews were recorded, transcribed, and translated (not all have been translated yet, but all the interviews are done). Some have also been uploaded to YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@wikimedialanguagediversity4327).
- The transcribed interviews were analyzed to understand barriers and challenges experienced when contributing to WIkipedia.
- The findings have been presented and discussed in several Steering Committee meetings.
- A report was produced that discusses our findings and a selection of the next steps that need to be taken.
- We presented our research project at Wikimania 2022, and wrote a diff blog about the work early on in the process.
- We have built connections with Giellatekno, a research center for Saami language technology at the Arctic University of Tromsø, and we see a potential for collaboration with them as a part of the development of the Language Diversity Hub.

It is hard to estimate how much work it will be to coordinate a project like this, so we had room in the Wikimedia Norge budget to go beyond the budget in this project.
Changes in spendings
The steering committee had agreed upon set sums for the different tasks of the project and decided that these set sums should be divided up equally amongst the participants of each step.
For the interview design stage, we had fewer participants than expected and most of them could participate as volunteers/through their existing role. We therefore decided, together with the Steering committee, to move more of that funding over to the research stage, as we expected the research would be a more demanding process.
We increased the number of language communities to 13, and with the added money from research design that led to 770 USD per language community. The funds from the Research phase were allocated as follows:

The Kashmiri and Angika community would have liked to have had a community activity organized, but there were no opportunities to do so at this time. We will find ways to include that in a project in the near future.

We hope that this work will be expanded upon by others as well, to add experiences from even more language communities, and also see how the situation improves in the years to come.
